Why purchase products through a distributor instead of directly through the manufacturer?

As a manufacturer, SHEHDS creates and sells quality fixtures at a wholesale price. As a distributor, we walk our clients through the purchasing process and guarantee full after-care support. SHEHDS does not have a team in place to offer quick solutions and personal customer care. Their focus is on manufacturing, not post-sale services.

Lumuh Lighting is a separate company able to extend systematic backing because of our established contacts with select warehouses and shipping logistics companies. Quality control, exchanges and warranties are covered with each client’s purchase. Immediate response time during business hours and troubleshooting are also built in for existing orders.

What are the estimated shipping times?

All items sent out from the United States warehouses have a shipping ETA of 4 - 8 days.

Items drop-shipped from China have a shipping ETA of 30 - 45 days. This includes all flight cases that are made to order, and any product shipped directly from the China warehouse.

All orders have added shipping insurance to protect the products in transit. This is to ensure that your item will be handled and delivered with care.

If you have ordered through Lumuh and your package arrives damaged, please contact us immediately so that we can file a claim with the shipping carrier.

What is the return and exchange policy?

All refunds will be issued within 30 days after receiving your product.

If you choose to return a product, you will be responsible for the following:

- 20% restocking fee

- Compensation to Lumuh Lighting for the initial shipping cost

- Cost associated with freighting the item back to our warehouse or repair center

Exchanges will also be accepted within 30 days of receiving your product. However, the customer will be responsible for the cost of freighting the item back to our warehouse.

Any damaged items, or items missing their UPC will not be accepted as a return.

Our team will advise you on what to do with the product. Please do not ship the unit to Lumuh's business or "shipped from" address listed on the package.

Does Lumuh offer warranties on products?

All Lumuh customers will receive a two-year manufacturer repair warranty. Exchange parts will be sent out to customers who are experiencing small issues with their product in order to offer a quick solution. Any major manufacturing errors or shipping damages will result in a full exchange.

In order to start the warranty process, all customers will be required to send a video showcasing the issue occurring with a product. One of our team members will address the problem with the Shehds manufacturing team and offer a solution.

Why does Lumuh charge a distribution fee?

We charge a 25% distribution fee to all orders to cover quality control, shipping logistics, returns/exchanges, warranties, technical service and customer support. SHEHDS offers limited support as they are solely a manufacturer and do not operate as a full service lighting company.

Does Shehds have FDA manufacturer variance certifications for their laser projectors?

Yes, they have registered all of their products with the FDA and we can provide this information upon request. However, if you purchase a 3 watt laser or higher, an FDA users variance certification is required. Failure to obtain this license may result in a fine up to $50,000 USD.

Can I visit a showroom or review demo units?

Currently, there are no showrooms or demo units available. However, Lumuh is working closely with the Shehds team in order to make these options a possibility in the near future.

Can you provide a list of Shehds products that are currently available in the United States?

Stock levels in the United States change drastically every day. A Lumuh team member is able to view all warehouses across the country to verify if the advertised stock level on the Shehds website is accurate. If a product is not in stock, the item can either be drop shipped from China, or we will suggest an alternative product that's available.

Does Lumuh offer lighting design consultation?

If you have questions in regards to which lights you should purchase for your venue or application, Lumuh provides professional consultation services. We can help create customized system that best suits the needs for your project. We charge a refundable consultation fee of $500 USD that will be credited back to your order.

Are there opportunities for reseller, trade, and wholesale accounts?

Currently, there are no opportunities to set up a reseller, trade, or wholesale account with SHEHDS or Lumuh. Please contact us at the end of 2024 as we'll be growing our distribution chain at that time.
